I have been charged for Pre-Pay Credit but my alarm never calls or sends me an SMS
The alarm|SIM CARD can be used to make calls, send SMS and also provide an always on data connection. If you have been charged for pre-pay credit and your alarm is not programmed to call or SMS you, then the panel will have been set up to use an always on data connection to communicate with a server to allow you to control and monitor your alarm via a smartphone. alarm|SIM CARD do not programme / set up your panel and any connection to the internet for a data connection from your SIM will have been programmed by your alarm installer.
